Lake Vermilion Northern Fishing

Northern season opens May 14, 2016

There is currently a protected slot of 24-36 inches, with one fish allowed over 36". All northerns of 24-36" in length must be immediately returned to the lake. Bag limit is 3 fish.

The largest northern released by a guest in 2013 was a 42.25" fish caught by Tyler Stepke the week of July 20.
