Crisp, cool nights permeated by the hint of wood smoke lead to quiet, often warm & sunny, days. Changing leaves add a rich dimension to the beauty and serenity of Lake Vermilion. Many of our summer guests are amazed by the changes autumn brings.

It's an excellent time of year for hiking, biking, boating, and golfing.

And don't forget, some of the finest fishing of the year is in the fall!

Hunting
The area around Lake Vermilion offers excellent hunting for bear, whitetail deer, grouse, duck, goose and other waterfowl. Public hunting lands provide miles of terrain and better-than-average opportunities to spot your quarry.
