12th Annual Mukluk Ball Benefit Dance (Feb 6th, 2010)
Dance all night to the music of Lamont Cranston Blues Band. 7 PM until Midnight in the Woodlands Ballroom. Must be 18 to attend. Casual dress, though some people like to dress it up! Mukluks are not required to attend the Mukluk ball. Tickets available at Steger Mukluks Retail Store in Ely, or online.Location: Fortune Bay Resort Casino

Fishing Gear Extravaganza (Feb 12th - 13th, 2010)
Friday 2-7 PM, Saturday noon-3 PM. New and used equipment for sale.Location: Tower Civic Center
2nd Annual Lake Vermilion Fish Fest (Feb 13th, 2010)
Ice fishing fun for all ages and skill levels. Skating party, sleigh rides & other activities also planned. Food and beverages will be available in the McKinley Park Campground building. Tower Fireman's Relief Association Beer Garden, Duke Skorich BBQ. Wrap up party/awards will be held at the Tower Civic Center with entertainment by Atlantis starting at 9 PM.Location: McKinley Park, Soudan

Take-a-Kid Ice Fishing Weekend (Feb 13th - 15th, 2010)
Minnesota residents 18 and older fish free with children younger than 16.Winter Blast, 2010 (Feb 27th, 2010)
Annual event to benefit the United Way of Northeastern Minnesota. Includes all day snowmobiling, lunch, dinner, entertainment, prizes.Location: Fortune Bay Resort and Lake Vermilion
