Lake Vermilion Musky Fishing

Musky season opens June 4, 2016

Lake Vermilion is fast becoming known for big muskies. In their last year of netting, 15% of the muskies recorded by the Minnesota DNR were over 50 inches.

Minimum size limit is 48".

Over 4800 fingerlings were stocked by the DNR in 2010. The largest musky reported by our guests in 2013 was 54" caught by Mike Agnew the week of June 15.
